Aggie Muster

A Candle at MusterMuster LogoAggie Muster is one of the traditions that separates Texas A&M from otther higher education institutions.  The 2009 event featured guest speaker Mark Dodge '07.  Before coming to Texas A&M and playing on the Aggie Football team Mark was in the United States Army.  Mark was on duty in the Pentagon on 9/11/2001 when American Airlines Flight 77 slammed into the building.

We also pay tribute to Roll Call Families in attendance with a white rose compliments of the club. The Roll Call of the Absent ceremony honors the memory of fellow Texas A&M former students who are no longer with us in body, but are with us in spirit. As each name is called, a family member present or volunteer will answer "here" and a candle is lit in their honor. The quiet "Circle of Light" formed around the room is truly moving.
